KDE Address Book Connector for OpenOffice.org

The KDE address book connector:

allows to browse KDE's address book from OpenOffice.org;
enables to use the addresses from KDE's address book in serial letters ("mailings");
gives programmers a way to access KDE's address book from many languages including OOBasic macros and Java.

The KDE address book connector is stable software. The first version of OpenOffice.org that includes the connector is OpenOffice.org 2.0.2. The current version of the connector accepts versions of KDE between 3.2 and (future) 3.6.

The next phase is now to make it possible to modify KDE's addresses directly from OpenOffice.org. If you are a developer, your help is welcome!

Here it is, finally!
OpenOffice.org 2.0.2 is the first official version with the KDE address book enabled.
As a consequence, binary packages won't be available here anymore. But be reassured, this is still the place for the latest experimental versions distributed as source or binary tarballs.
